Our House Rules
Our house rules are based on our experience vacationing in the Pocono mountains enjoying as much as possible of what the Poconos have to offer and our desire to share an enjoyable Pocono mountain Chalet vacation home experience with our Arrowhead Lake Community Temporary Members.
We have listed some do’s and don’ts to guide your experience at Bear’s Lakeview Chalet.

- the sights at local attractions where lakes and waterfalls are surrounded by beautiful natural scenery and wildlife.
- activities at local Pocono attractions such as
- golf courses,
- animal parks/farms,

- ski slopes,

- equestrian centers,
- white water rafting tours,
- tubing,
- canoeing,
- kayaking,
- waterparks,
- zip lines,
- escape rooms,
- scenic railways,

- Pocono Raceway
- and many, many others.
- some shopping at local farmers markets, shops and stores.
- fishing in the lake.

- taking the kayaks for an excursion around the lake.
- observing the abundant wildlife.
- taking a short walk or drive to visit the lodge and participating in any events or activities offered during your stay or using
- the billiards room,
- exercise equipment
- or library.
- taking a short walk to Beach 1 for
- playing on the playground,
- sitting on the beach,
- swimming in the lake
- or taking in the natural scenery of the lake.
- visiting the island pool area for
- swimming in the pool,
- playing basketball,
- bocce ball,
- horse shoes,
- volley ball,
- or sitting by the lake.
- visiting the lower level of the welcome center and playing some games.
- playing a board game with family or friends.
- reading a book.
- watching some TV or movies at your leisure in the great room.
- relaxing about the vacation home if you are not interested in any other activities.
However you decide to spend your time at Bear’s Lakeview Chalet in the Pocono mountains is up to you and we hope you enjoy your time and experience as much as we do. Please remember to bring your gate key card and wear wrist bands when visiting the Arrowhead Lake Community Common Areas or participating in events and activities.
Don’ts
Our house rules are based on best practices to maintain a neat, clean and safe vacation home that enables all our temporary members to enjoy the vacation home during their stay and aligns with our good neighbor policy.
Please do not
- occupy the vacation home property with more than ten temporary members.
- use the property or community common areas in an unsafe or impolite manner.
- use the property for any purpose other than a vacation home accommodation.
- use each gate key card for more than one vehicle.
- park more than eight vehicles in the vacation home driveway.
- park vehicles in roadways or shoulders.
- make noise or disturbances during quiet hours.
- hold parties, events or large gatherings.
- smoke in the property.
- bring animals or pets in or on the property.
- engage or interact with wildlife.
- possess or use fireworks on the property or in the community.
- light fires in the fire pit or use any products that may generate sparks during a burn ban.
- possess illegal substances, materials, items or engage in illegal activities in or on the property or in the community.
- violate any rules or regulations of the Arrowhead Lake Community Association or federal, state or local laws.
​Some of the house rules are based on Town of Tobyhanna ordinances and / or Arrowhead Lake Community Association Rules and Regulations and / or federal, state or local laws. Please see the Vacation Home Temporary Occupancy License Agreement for details. Failure to align with these house rules or Vacation Home Temporary Occupancy License Agreement may result in monetary charges and / or other action(s) up to and including required vacating of the property and community in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Vacation Home Temporary Occupancy License Agreement.
